Mercedes S600 by Speedriven

Posted on January 8, 2011

Us auto specialist Speedriven unveiled today the ultimate S Class. Speedriven took the stock twin-turbo V12 power plant of the standard S600 and used some spanners, water air intercoolers, a new ECU, K&N air filters, scorpion air intakes and high-flow air induction kits to boost the power to 695 horsepower, along with 840 lb-ft of torque.

The car also features Speedriven’s transmission controller upgrades, allowing the car to handle the extra torque and giving the S600 a more “true” manual mode to hold gears more aggressively while delivering quicker, firmer shifts in “sport” mode (comfort mode retains the S600’s usual silkiness).

The Speedriven Mercedes S600 power kit can be your for $8,800 (the price doesn’t include the installation charges).

“We believe that building big power is the easy part; building big power that is reliable, dependable, and (most of all) usable is the real challenge. Speedriven takes this challenge very seriously, and every Speedriven car – while hugely powerful – is still every inch a Mercedes-Benz, with all the character and gravitas that name carries,” a company release reads.
